Dániel has been deeply involved in music for over 15 years and has nearly a decade of experience as a drum teacher. He has contributed to multiple albums from the creative process through mastering and release. In addition to performing with several active bands, he works as a session drummer and is a key figure in Budapest’s underground jazz and hip-hop scenes. Each week, he performs at improvised instrumental gigs or backs up rappers, MCs, and vocalists at venues across the city. He’s also active in music mixing (Logic, ProTools)—his latest work can be heard on Mörk – Still Dreamin’. Beyond performance and production, he co-runs the independent label Morotva Records. Dániel holds an MA in jazz drum performance and education, and from this fall, he will begin teaching jazz drums and related subjects—such as music software literacy—at the University of Pécs.
